About Bailey
Bailey received a Bachelors degree in Psychology, as well as a minor in both Sociology and Business from the University of Kansas. She continued her education at KU where she received a Master’s degree from the School of Social Welfare. Throughout her graduate career she worked therapeutically with clients both individually as well as within groups. Bailey had the opportunity to provide services in schools as well as in private practice settings. Through these experiences she gained a variety of skills and tools that she continues to incorporate into her practice.
Bailey’s therapeutic style is collaborative, working with clients to tailor therapy services to their specific goals and needs. She specializes in working with children (5+), teens, and young adults in the following areas: anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life changes, relationship building, boundary setting, and behavioral & academic concerns. She utilizes a variety of modalities when working with clients including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SBFT), and Play Therapy.
Bailey recognizes that seeking out therapy can be difficult and applauds you for taking the difficult steps to begin this process. Bailey strives to form therapeutic relationships that help clients feel comfortable, welcome, and supported.
Personal Fun Facts: I enjoy spending time outdoors, cooking, baking, and traveling. I have two German Shepherds who occupy most of my time, and I love every minute of it. I am also an avid reader, gardener and have a variety of indoor and outdoor plants!
